Kinfolk · Gathering No. 1 | Framed Art Print | Originology | Black History X
Gathering · No. 1
Some families are built, block by block.
Kinfolk is a bold geometric portrait of a family in profile: a tall woman and a tall man facing each other, with children standing between them, their bodies built from blocks, arcs and circles in red, teal, cobalt, mustard and black. Haloes and half-moons hover around their heads, and far off in the corner a single small figure stands alone, watching.
Painted with a thick, cracked palette-knife texture, it looks like something that's been on a wall for a hundred years and is still standing.
Because every one of us comes from a circle of people.
The haloes aren't all the same, and neither are the people under them. Some are full circles, some are arcs, some are missing altogether. And that tiny figure in the corner? Maybe it's someone on their way home. Maybe it's you.
Red, teal, cobalt, mustard and black. Strong enough to hold a room from across it, textured enough to pull you in close.
Perfect for:
- Living rooms, hallways and family spaces
- Lovers of geometric and modernist art
- Family homes, new parents and reunions
- Black History Month and cultural celebrations
- Anyone who knows where they come from
Kinfolk. Together, apart, together.
Hang it. Gather round. Stay close.
Every wall tells a story.
