Golden Black Mothers · No. 3
Some queens never needed a throne.
Golden Black Mothers No. 3 is a rich, icon-style portrait of a mother robed entirely in gold, a beaded crown and wrap framing her face, her child held close in matching gold, both haloed, with children gathered around them in a field of sunflowers under a starry night.
Here the icon steps out of the church and into the open air, under the same sky our ancestors read their way home by.
Because some mothers don't wear gold. They are the gold.
The crown and collar speak of royalty, the halos of holiness, and the open field of a home that was always theirs. The stars behind her aren't decoration. They're a reminder of how long this story has been running.
Gold, deep night blue and warm earth tones. Strong enough to hold a room from across it, textured enough to pull you in close.
Perfect for:
- Living rooms and statement walls
- Lovers of classical and icon-inspired art
- Mothers, grandmothers and new parents
- Afrocentric and earthy interiors
- Black History Month and cultural celebrations
Golden Black Mothers. Crowned in light.
Hang it. Hold close. Look up.
Every wall tells a story.
