Oathbound · The Unrecorded No. 2 | Framed Art Print | Originology | Black History X
The Unrecorded · No. 2
She didn't wait to be written in.
Oathbound No. 2 is a bold, screen-print-style poster of a Black woman samurai: gold crescent horns and a gold crest on her helmet, a band of orange war paint across her eyes, a white cord knotted tight at her chin, her natural hair framing a teal and orange laced neck guard, and two sword hilts crossed at her waist, set against an orange sun on a teal ground.
Across her breastplate run two characters in the same lost script. Whoever she swore her oath to, the archive never wrote it down. The oath held anyway.
Because a vow doesn't need a witness to be kept.
The cord at her chin is knotted the way you tie something you have no plan to take off. The war paint sits across her eyes like a visor. And two blades at her waist say she came ready for more than one fight.
Teal, burnt orange, gold and cream. Strong enough to hold a room from across it, textured enough to pull you in close.
Perfect for:
- Living rooms, studies and statement walls
- Lovers of samurai, martial arts and anime art
- Retro poster and screen-print collectors
- Black History Month and cultural celebrations
- Anyone who keeps their word when nobody's watching
Oathbound. Sworn, not recorded.
Hang it. Tie it tight. Stand firm.
Every wall tells a story.
