Daydream · Clouds No. 3 | Framed Art Print | Originology | Black History X
Clouds · No. 3
Some peace you have to make for yourself.
Daydream is an engraved collage portrait of a woman in profile, eyes closed and completely at ease, her afro filled with billowing clouds in cream, tarnished gold, slate blue and rust, threaded with ribbons of colour that rise through her hair like music. A gold spiral earring catches the light, set against tall patterned panels and plain crumpled paper.
Her skin is drawn in fine, flowing lines, like an old engraving. The clouds are soft and the ribbons move, but she doesn't. She's exactly where she wants to be.
Because rest is not the same as stopping.
The ribbons rising through her hair could be thoughts, songs or memories; the piece leaves that to you. And the plain paper behind her face is deliberate, a little open sky for the mind to wander into.
Cream, rust, slate blue and gold. Strong enough to hold a room from across it, textured enough to pull you in close.
Perfect for:
- Bedrooms, reading corners and quiet spaces
- Lovers of 70s and mixed-media collage art
- Natural hair lovers and salons
- Black History Month and cultural celebrations
- Anyone who knows the value of switching off
Daydream. Eyes closed, mind wide open.
Hang it. Breathe out. Drift.
Every wall tells a story.
