Heirloom · Woven No. 1 | Framed Art Print | Originology | Black History X
Woven · No. 1
Every pattern was handed down by someone.
Heirloom is a portrait pieced together from cloth: a face turned up towards the light, built from hundreds of fragments of pattern, set against deep black.
Kente, mudcloth, Kuba cloth. The patterns are centuries old. The face is now. Here they aren't worn. They are the person.
Not one cloth but many. Not one story, but every one that came before.
Terracotta, deep teal, cream and burnished gold on pure black. Bold from across the room, endlessly detailed up close.
The modern half of the Woven pair. Hang it beside Homeland, Woven No. 2, the traditional half, and the two faces look towards each other.
Perfect for:
- Living rooms and studies that need a statement piece
- Offices and creative spaces
- Anyone who loves African textiles and pattern
- Black History Month displays
- A gift for someone proud of their roots
Heirloom. What we carry.
Hang it. Look up. Remember.
Every wall tells a story.

About Originology
Originology is the study of origins: where we came from, what we built, and what was taken out of the record. Every Originology piece starts from one truth. Our story doesn't begin in a chapter or a census. It begins at Day One.
