Shortwave · Past Forward No. 4 | Framed Art Print | Originology | Black History X
Past Forward · No. 4
Some signals you don't find. They find you.
Shortwave is a bold, graphic portrait of a woman tuned in to something only she can hear. A red and cream trucker cap with a HIP badge, round red-rimmed shades, one huge retro headphone pressed to her ear, a teal track jacket, gold chains, a hoop earring and a gold watch, and a red boombox with its aerial up, all against a big orange sun, retro stripes and old posters.
Before anyone had a phone, the boombox was how a whole street heard the new tape.
Because every station's got a reach. This one never went off air.
She isn't listening so much as receiving. And the HIP on her cap answers the HOP on his in Stereophonic. Hang them side by side and the word's complete.
Teal, burnt orange, red and gold on cream. Strong enough to hold a room from across it, textured enough to pull you in close.
Perfect for:
- Hip-hop heads and boombox collectors
- DJs, selectors and crate diggers
- Retro and vintage-inspired interiors
- Black History Month and cultural celebrations
- Anyone who still remembers pressing play on a tape
Shortwave. Built to carry.
Hang it. Tune in. Turn it up.
Every wall tells a story.
