Relic · Gilded No. 3 | Framed Art Print | Originology | Black History X
Gilded · No. 3
Gold doesn't need to be whole to still be gold.
Relic is a bold, graphic portrait of a woman surfacing out of pure black, as if left on a wall somewhere and slowly worn away. What's left runs in streaks, not sheets: scratched gold across her cheek and nose, thin in places and pooled thick in others, breaking into drips and scrapes at the edges. One eye still catches the light. Her lips survive whole, cracked gold held together.
A relic is what's left when everything else is gone, and why it's kept.
Because what erodes isn't what mattered. What's left standing is.
She isn't fading out. She's coming through. The gaps aren't missing pieces. They're the story of how she got here.
Black and antique gold. Strong enough to hold a room from across it, textured enough to pull you in close.
Perfect for:
- Lovers of bold, abstract portrait art
- Black and gold interiors, bedrooms and dressing rooms
- Galleries, salons and creative spaces
- Black History Month and cultural celebrations
- Anyone who wears their history well
Relic. Still here, still gold.
Hang it. Dim the lights. Let her surface.
Every wall tells a story.
