Alchemy · Gilded No. 1 | Framed Art Print | Originology | Black History X
Gilded · No. 1
Some things were never base metal to begin with.
Alchemy is a bold, graphic portrait of a woman looking straight at you, her face split between deep shadow and gold. Cracked, weathered gold leaf runs from her brow across one eye and down her cheek, covers half of her lips and drips towards her chin, while the other side of her face sinks into pure black.
Alchemy was the old dream of turning ordinary metal into gold.
The gold was always there. It just needed the light.
The gold isn't painted on top. It looks pulled up from underneath, something finally surfacing. And the dark side isn't hiding anything. Both halves are looking right at you.
Deep black and burnished gold. Strong enough to hold a room from across it, textured enough to pull you in close.
Perfect for:
- Lovers of bold portrait art
- Black and gold interiors, bedrooms and dressing rooms
- Galleries, salons and creative spaces
- Black History Month and cultural celebrations
- Anyone who knows their worth and doesn't need to say it
Alchemy. Gold from the start.
Hang it. Light it low. Look twice.
Every wall tells a story.
