Wavelength · The Inner Ear No. 3 | Framed Art Print | Originology | Black History X
The Inner Ear · No. 3
Eyes closed. Volume up. World off.
Wavelength is a bold, graphic portrait of a woman lost in her own sound. Eyes closed, head tilted, dark curls falling loose, she wears a pair of oversized coral headphones as the music ripples out from them in rings of pink across a weathered cream and slate background.
Women have been part of hip-hop from the start: on the mic, behind the decks and out on the floor.
Because the best sound is the one only you can hear.
Her closed eyes aren't switching off, they're tuning in. The headphones make the room disappear. The rings spreading out behind her are the music itself. And the stillness in her face is its own kind of rhythm.
Coral pink, slate grey and black on cream, softer than the rest of the set but just as loud. Strong enough to hold a room from across it, textured enough to pull you in close.
Perfect for:
- Women in music, on the mic and behind the boards
- Bedrooms, studios and creative spaces
- Black History Month and Women's History Month
- Meaningful gifts for daughters, sisters and friends
- Anyone who listens with their whole body, not just their ears
Wavelength. Tuned to nobody else.
Hang it. Close your eyes. Press play.
Every wall tells a story.
