Adorned | Framed Art Print | Originology | Black History X
Every detail is a decision.
Adorned is a bold, painted portrait of a woman in profile: natural hair built up and out, pinned with a gold and red disc and threaded with red and teal beads, a gold triangle earring, stacked pearls at her neck and a wax-print wrap at her shoulder, set against a warm gold ground.
Across Africa and the diaspora, adornment has always spoken: of family, status, celebration and self.
Because some things get called too much. This was always the right amount.
The earring alone is a piece of architecture. The pearls are stacked high enough to be armour as much as ornament. And behind her there's nothing but gold, because nothing else needed to share the frame.
Gold, deep black, crimson and teal. Strong enough to hold a room from across it, textured enough to pull you in close.
Perfect for:
- Living rooms, bedrooms and dressing areas
- Natural hair lovers and salons
- Afrocentric and boho interiors
- Black History Month and cultural celebrations
- Anyone who dresses like they mean it
Adorned. Every piece chosen.
Hang it. Stand tall. Own it.
Every wall tells a story.

About Originology
Originology is the study of origins: where we came from, what we built, and what was taken out of the record. Every Originology piece starts from one truth. Our story doesn't begin in a chapter or a census. It begins at Day One.
