The Company · Noble Courtiers No. 7 | Framed Art Print | Originology | Black History X
Noble Courtiers · No. 7
Some deals are made in palaces. The real ones are made at the table.
The Company is a scene in the grand old-master style: three Black men gathered at a candlelit table, one in a burnt-orange coat, one in a wide black hat, one in cream, deep in conversation while the room carries on around them.
Black merchants, soldiers and travellers moved through Europe's cities and taverns for centuries, trading, talking and making their way. The painters saw them. The history books mostly didn't.
Because the courts of Europe were never as white as their paintings made them look.
The hats are style. The coats are status. The conversation is the point: whatever they're planning, it's theirs.
Burnt orange, black, cream and deep umber. Strong enough to hold a room from across it, textured enough to pull you in close.
Perfect for:
- Living rooms, dining rooms and studies that need a statement piece
- Lovers of classical and old-master painting
- Anyone drawn to hidden histories
- Black History Month displays
- A gift for the friend who's always at the head of the table
The Company. Good company, good business.
Hang it. Pull up a chair. Join the conversation.
Every wall tells a story.
