Secret Book Club | Two Tone Mug | Originology | Black History X
For those who prefer hushed, thoughtful discussions.
The Secret Book Club Two Tone Mug from Black History X carries SECRET BOOK CLUB above the Eye of Horus, the founding year split either side, and a line at the bottom telling you exactly what sort of room this is.
Secret Book Club, 1933. Black Pride.
Reading while Black has been illegal, punished and quietly discouraged across more of history than most people realise. So it happened anyway, in kitchens, in back rooms, in churches after everyone had gone home. Books passed hand to hand with no record kept. The discussions were hushed because they had to be.
Some clubs are exclusive. This one was just careful.
This one is for everyone who still reads like it matters.
