Oathbound · The Unrecorded No. 1 | Framed Art Print | Originology | Black History X
The Unrecorded · No. 1
Some histories were never written down. That doesn't mean they didn't happen.
Oathbound No. 1 is a bold, screen-print-style poster of a Black woman samurai: gilded horns and a gold crest on her helmet, red war paint across her eyes and running down her cheeks, a katana over her shoulder and laced black armour, set against a red sun on an ochre ground.
Across her breastplate runs a script no archive kept. Whether it was lost, taken, or simply never written down by the people doing the recording, it's here now.
Because the record was never the whole story.
The war paint runs down her cheeks, but nothing about her is crying. The red sun sits behind her like a seal of her own. And the stamps in the corners mark this piece as hers before anyone else's.
Ochre, crimson, black and burnished gold. Strong enough to hold a room from across it, textured enough to pull you in close.
Perfect for:
- Living rooms, studies and statement walls
- Lovers of samurai, martial arts and anime art
- Retro poster and screen-print collectors
- Black History Month and cultural celebrations
- Anyone who never asked permission to be in the story
The Unrecorded. Never erased.
Hang it. Stand guard. Hold the line.
Every wall tells a story.

About Originology
Originology is the study of origins: where we came from, what we built, and what was taken out of the record. Every Originology piece starts from one truth. Our story doesn't begin in a chapter or a census. It begins at Day One.
